I have always considered music and traveling as essential for my life, and to be an intricate part of each other.

At a young age I began playing the guitar, listening to American Blues, Rhythm and Blues and Rock'n'Roll, instantly and inexplicably attracted to that music.

Hitch-hiking across the US for several months in a time when it was fun to do so, traveling around Europe and to remotes places in Central and South-America provided me with a wealth of encounters with musicians, people, the influences and experiences of which find their way in my music today.

I have played in several bands, most notably War Honey, an alternative rock band in the Washington DC circuit, New Amsterdam, and Ai, a progressive rock band based in Paris.

My attraction to American Roots music has lead me in the past few years to produce two records for a true gem: The Five Points Band (www.fivepointsband.com), a Blues, Rhythm and Rock trio: The Five Points Band, their groundbreaking yet true to the Blues 1st CD and Roots And The Spirit, their more adventurous follow up work.

After which I decided to once again write and perform my own music.

Surrounding myself with the best musicians and talents I could find, Will Lee and Tony Garnier on bass, Charley Drayton on drums, Rob Arthur (www.robarthur.com) who took the producer’s chair and also played piano, organ and keyboards and Bashiri Johnson on percussion and my new CD: "Under The Influence" is the result of this endeavor.

It’s the expression of all the musical and guitar styles that have compelled me to the instrument throughout the years. I support Music Maker Relief Foundation (www.musicmaker.org), a non profit organization dedicated to help the pioneers of southern music gain recognition and meet their day to day needs, as I am concerned with and want to give back to the preservation of our musical culture.

Along the way I was happy to run into Bernard (www.lompre.com) a sailor and world renowned tattoo artist, his specialty is the art of the Polynesian, Marquesian and Maori tatau and he has sailed extensively throughout French Polynesia. He has now become a dear friend and whenever possible we take trips to places neither of us has traveled to before.

A few years ago I also have opened up a Bed and Breakfast in Buzios, Brazil with my dear friends Maria and Gisele (www.ourhousebrazil.com) it’s always a joy to return to this little slice of paradise. I have completely fallen in love with the country, it’s people, it’s music and sensual atmosphere.
